MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
The name of our website says what For the Children Foundation is really all about. The healthy future of our communities depends in good part on the healthy present of our children and families that live in those communities. Healthy communities cannot survive without people who step forward to deliver services and support to children and families in crisis or distress. Often those in most need of services are those who can least afford them. And, that's where you and I come in.
For the Children Foundation funds mental healthcare services to children, adolescents and their families who have no financial means to receive services. Through a grant from For the Children Foundation, funds are available for individual and family counseling services.
For the Children Foundation is also partially funding a recreational pavilion at Royal Oaks Hospital. A place where children and adolescents in residential placement can enjoy the outdoors, reunite with family members and benefit from important social activities which will make reintegration with their community a more positive experience.
